Greetings

This is the first of my endgame videos. The second one will be about strategic ideas in the bishop of the same colour, endgames. l'll try to cover all endgames step by step. Unfortunately, this one didn't went as fluent as the first one I think I made grammar mistakes and was sort of nervous . I'll try harder next time

This time I would like to see lots of criticisim What would make endgame videos even more instructive? Maby more variations? More explanations of basic positions, patterns? If this video is crap, just tell me, I will have no problem with that and record a new one.

armis asked me to watch the video and give as much negative critisism as I could but it's not easy.

Most of the content in the video is totaly new to me and I learned lots by just watching,pausing and having it explained. Your explanations are very easy to follow and it's good that you have many examples. In fact it's so great that you could probably charge money for it (hopefully it will remain free!)

So you asked me not to lie but be straight and give you constructive feedback and what I've said is the truth! Looking forward to more endgame lessons and especially on concrete endgames such as these where exact knowledge is important. Those are often the most boring ones to study from a book and it's a lot more fun to follow your explanations in video format.

You worry too much about your grammar. I think not even native speaker would mind as long as your chess knowledge is great especially regarding rather new endgame situations. Thanks for the video, it was awesome. The only negative point I can think of right now, is that you were talking almost too fast. (well but you said you were nervous)

I'd like to thank you for making a great video however I believe you made an error in one of the examples:

This position appears around 4:54 and you are talking about how black draws and explain that both pieces have to control the blocking square,in the video you say that whatever white moves black will be able to control the blocking square next move and you play 1.Be8 and after 1..Bg4 it's a draw, but after 1.Bc6+ white wins. I don't think there are any other mistakes and oh don't worry about your english it's fine.
Edit: Actually I made a mistake too after 1.Be8 1...Bg4 2.Bd7 white is still winning because after the black bishop moves white has 3.Bc6+.

The king had to be c5, then it's a draw. I rushed a bit and put the king on the wrong square. Sorry, about that. Maby I'll remake this video or if possible admin will place the king on c5. I wrote him a private message. This may soon be corrected

I edited the video and moved the king from d5 to c5. Hopefully everything still works ok, video editing is not my specialty.

This is very instructive...I love it! Your explanations are very clear and our admin did some masterful video editing. Also inviting people to pause the video is great and an idea I'll steal for my future videos. The practical examples are pretty cool, and your commentary is entertaining.

The rook pawn zugzwang trick is pretty neat, I like how the bishop makes a few sneaky moves to force the zugzwang.
