Hi Peter,

I'm surprised to be the first to comment on your excellent video. Maybe nobody felt they could add anything to your thorough and accurate explanation. I love the slow play stuff you show here. I appreciate seeing a player recognize that a position allows him to take his time. Likewise, it's interesting for me, as a beginner, to see a player recognize that a position is drawn. Is it fair to say that White did not recognize the drawn position going into the endgame? It seemed like White was trying to play for a winning edge....just desperate for something active to happen.

I often get caught up in the thrill of the battle and miss the moments to step back and count my advantages and disadvantages, so this was an instructive video for me. Thanks a lot.

Peter: great job! I am just in the middle of a discussion on endgames which I totally do not understand. This was very illuminating! Although bringing it into practice myself is another matter....

Thanks for your comments :D

Boyhowdy: That was indeed the case. The whole game had been quite a bore up till the moment we go into the endgame. There had been one moment where I could've tried an exchange sacrifice, but white hadn't really been able to do much. She really wanted to win, and combine that with a bit of timetrouble and you can see why she made the mistakes she made.
