Well thought out and presented analysis.

The spinning board to separate variations from the actual game was a cool feature

Thanks for the vid, entertaining as per usual.

Just a note on pronunciation of Chinese names- 'X' is pronounced quite like "sh" (as in Xian) and 'IE' is pronounced something like "eer" so his family name should be pronounced something like "Sheer" (with a falling tone :) ).

Thanks, I stand corrected, I'll try to remember that in the future. The days almost over for me and I still learned something new :D

Hope things are going well for you. Keep me in the loop.

@jtixs, thanks for your comment. I like to do something to separate the variations as I tend to wonder off on tangents from time to time.

Chess is going well- blitz rating just leapt about 150 points and am now working to get my standard rating higher so I can get some tougher opponents to play me. Just finished playing a 60-minute game which I almost blew but came on strongly at the end to win. Really trying to work on the fundamentals of chess- as such am learning to play the Open Games with black. I've got a basic repertoire going for the first time ever. Whilst continually adding little bits to that I'm hoping to improve my tactical and endgame play.

Other than that, life is good. Had some good drunken times at a bar the night before last and am hoping for some more tonight! Keep meaning to write another of those group e-mails but never seem to get round to it.
