Fantastic attack KB. Not sure if its sound and perhaps there is a defence but it's about having the b**ls to go for it.

What hurt me in this game was missing the double check. After that it is all over but the crying. Kingsblade played very well, but when we play again, I vow to play better!!! According to computer analysis, the bishop sac was not sound, but that's only if your opponent knows what he is doing and since I'm still a beginner, I think it was indeed the best move for Kingsblade to make.

Edit:

I very much enjoyed the intro music, Kingsblade. Having a personalized intro was really cool.

Good game Kingsblade. I almost never sacrifice anything unless I can see for sure the win or at least gaining the material back. Usually because whenever I do sacrifice I just end up losing. :-)

I would like to say that I had no time to find the move 20.Ne5, but I checked and after Kingsblade's 19th move, I had 5:08 left and to show just how flustered and clueless I was, when I made my ludicrous 20th move, I had 3:51 remaining on the clock. So, I spent more than one minute finding a non-useful move!

I must say, however, that I believe Kingsblade is a stronger player than myself and I offer this as evidence:

I assume he normally plays 15 minute games and he had an "estimated" rating of 1362 on FICS.
I almost always play 30 minute games (twice as long) and my rating was 1361 at the time this game was played. If I sound like a little child whining about how I lost...I can't help it, dang it.

Just in case, my attempted humor fails (what do I mean IF?), I had fun in this game even though I missed a tactical shot that blew me out of the water. I will now be playing the English opening again, so maybe that will shake things up in the event Kingsblade and I meet again. Oh, and I'm gonna have to ask him to play with a five minute clock while I get thirty minutes.

you won in a nice style, but i felt like you didn't bother to dig for the "truth" in the post-mortem. In addition to general impressions ("white is under-developed" and "it just seems sound to me"), try analyzing concrete lines. calculation is almost always required to confirm intuition.
