Thank you Pollock and CLWilliams for watching the video. Too bad I let this won game slip away, but I definitely learned from this game and don't intend to make "cute" moves (like that bishop sacrifice in the endgame where I thought he couldn't stop my pawn from queening) in the future.

Kingsblade - Awesome that you know someone with whom you can play a "real" game of chess. I need to seek out a local chess club in my area. It would be fun, I think, to play OTB. I've gotten my Chess Position Repertoire fired up and I'm training away at a furious pace, so I'll be slightly more difficult to thrash in the event we meet again on FICS.
Bruce - How many stinkers were there in this game? I was too afraid to count them. I don't really want to know but I'm sure at least ten can be found! Like you say, that's blitz. But, beginners like myself make 'em even in longer time controls. Oh well, chess is still fun and as long as it stays that way, I'll keep playing. Thanks for watching and keep posting your videos as well they help the newbies like myself as well as many others I'm sure.
