That early Ng5 is too aggressive. h6!!! wins a tempo for black.I feel that in English/queen pawn openings h6,h3 moves are okay to prevent the bishops coming to g5 or g4 respectively if that makes any since. Better is 0-0!! then play for e5 via Bf4, Re1 etc. At 13:10 Qd3!! Protects everything and threatens e6!!!.

I see what you mean about Ng5. I thought if he played h6 then I might be able to win that pawn with a bishop and queen battery. I know it makes me move my knight (winning a tempo?), but I felt my opponent wasn't really ready to make any real threats against me, yet so the kicking of said knight wasn't a big deal. With that said, I really don't know a lot about chess just yet, so I won't be surprised if I'm just spouting complete nonsense!

I forgot to show what Chessmaster recommended at the critical point in the game (13:10). If you recall, I took black's bishop with my knight which was horrible. Chessmaster recommended Rh3 which would have prevented the doomsday Ne3+ .
