Peter this is my first message, thank you and all the other people on this fantastic site for all the effort and time you give. I am trying to improve my game and low rating(1250). After watching your videos I have used the French as my response to e4. I play in the 'B' team for my club and have used some of your ideas in my last three games. In each game my opponents have been 1700-1800 graded players. I have drawn one and lost two. The games I lost were very close and but for slight tactical errors in the end game I may have had at least a draw and maybe with better play a win. The great thing about these games? I was in there fighting. We were out of book and my opponents had to dig deep for their results. Once again many thanks to you and the rest of the contributors on this great site.
