 Chess Puzzle (medium)
This came from one of my games. This position, right here is winning for white. Here, white has a winning move. (sadly, I played be5??) and although I won the game, I missed this wonderful combination.
White to play and win.
The "hide" tabs don't seem to be working on this post. Move to post 5 for the answers.

Haven't looked that in depth, so could very easily be wrong The series that seemed to jump out at me was 1.Bh6+ if 1...Bg7 then 2.h8=Q# and if instead 1...Ke8 then 2.Bg7
Is that correct?

I guess my puzzles are too easy... Yes you got it right themofro. I'm posting the answers at the bottom of the page since those hide tags don't seem to work.

Hidden Text Below - [Show it] - [Hide it Again] Hmm...thats odd they seem to be working fine for me
You're using [hide]text here[/*hide] but without the asterick in closing half, right?

Play should go...
Hidden Text Below - [Show it] - [Hide it Again]
Bh6+! No, no sacrafices right away. Deflects the king. Black has two choices, both lose. Bg7 loses to h8Q#, so Ke8 is forced. Next move?
Hidden Text Below - [Show it] - [Hide it Again]
Bg7!! This move wins on the spot. Now that the black king has been deflected, the bishop can be thrown away (that's why Be4?? is very bad) Bxg7 is black's only try.
Hidden Text Below - [Show it] - [Hide it Again]
h8Q+ Bxh8 Rxh8+ should be next. Kd7 is black's only move, and Rxd5+ Kc7 Rxd8 Rxd8 Rxd8 Kxd8 leads to a knight up for white, and is hopelessly lost for black. It would have been great if I could have played this...
It works in every other post except that one... Don't know why but it works on this one.
Credits go to themofro for this post.

Wow, this puzzle is really cool. Thanks for posting
Also, I have no idea why the hide tags weren't working there. But at least they're working now.
