 the 9 move checkmatetry to find this 9 move checkmate
http://www.chessvideos.tv/bimg/f18458flnmgc.png it is very hard, 8 checks, 1 isn't, 4 checks from the queen, and i made this puzzle up, it wasn't from my games. _________________ i will beat you... if you don't beat me. |

Re: the 9 move checkmate Just curious as to how it took you 2 minutes to figure it out when you say you made the puzzle up
 I couldn't solve it and Hiarcs solved it as a mate in 12: 1. Nf5+ Kg5 2. Nxg3 h2 3. Bd2+ Kh4 4. Nxh5 Rg8 5. Nxf6 Rg1+ 6. Kxh2 Rg2+ 7. Kh1 Rg1+ 8. Rxg1 fxg1=Q+ 9. Kxg1 f2+ 10. Kxf2 Bxf6 11. Rh7+ Kg4 12. Qe4# 1-0 _________________ illigetimi non carborundum. |
