Thanks for the analysis. It's good to hear you're learning a lot from making the videos :)

Interesting discussion of the dxe5 dxe5 Qxd8 possibility. I found it especially useful since I get into similar lines as black (after 1.d4 d6 2.c4 e5).

I was typing a question about your opinion of black playing e4 when you said “what if black does this [e4] you might ask?” Thanks for the explanation!

c5 was great! I was actually considering the possibility of playing it before you play dxe5, but it gets messy and the way you played it is much stronger and more logical.

In the position after 17...Rad8. Is Nh4-f5 a possibility for you?

18.a3 was a great idea!

I think 25.Bxe5 leads to a lot of trouble for you after 25...Rxe5 (or the line you mentioned).

In the 28...g5 29.f3 Bc8 line, could you try 30.Rxe5 Rxe5 31.Qxe5 and if 31....gxh4 32.Bb2 looks like it causes a lot of problems for him thanks to the opposite colored bishops. I feel like he can avoid that line, but I'm thinking you can get some counterplay with that dark squared bishop.

I like the possibility of 35.f4. That would've been a great move.

Exciting game! You describe your thought processes very clearly. The overview at the end was helpful :)
