Intro to the USCL the Game of the Year Contest
The United States Chess League just concluded their 2007 season. Each week, a game was selected as game of the week, and at the end of the season 7 "wild card" games were added to form the 20 candidates for Game of the Year.
All of the games were rated by the 5 judges:
FM Robby Adamson
NM Dennis Monokroussos
GM Alex Shabalov
WGM Jennifer Shahade
FM Ron Young
And were ranked into a top 20 list based on the ratings from the judges. Each week the on the USCL News Blog a new game will be posted in order from 20th on down until the #1 (Game of the Year) is announced. Shortly thereafter, ChessVideos.TV favorite NM Dennis Monokroussos (you can find his blog here) will present each game here on ChessVideos.TV in video form, in this very forum.

Excellent! Also, I just wanted to see what four of the emoticons looked like in quote boxes... I couldn't get the four of them to line up even with a little editing.

I do want to make sure that the original intent of this message isn't lost. This is a very awesome thing that we've got here. And I've already enjoyed the first of the analyzed games! While the nested cheers are very cool, I think they're deserved as well.
Thanks Josh and Admin for adding even more awesome content to this already wonderful site!!!

Most of the thanks should be directed at the people who run and play in the USCL and Dennis for making such excellent videos. We just post the videos, they are doing all the work
