I changed numbering after posting. Made 18 free because was gonna start new series but decides instead to keepthe series all under the same numbering

Hi Greg,
If you are now going to keep the entire series under the same numbering, then maybe you should resolve the ambiguity of 'Solitaire 19' / 'Solitaire19' (used by Adams v Speelman and Aaron v Fischer)!?
Cheers, Graham

I wonder if White was in time trouble. He started going crazy around move 35.
What I do to score myself is, for every move where I differ from the actual game, do a Houdini evaluation of both my move and the actual move, then add up all the differences. (This also means occasionally I get credit for a move rather than a penalty.) Of course this is not exact but neither is just seeing what fraction of moves match. If I were motivated I would make some mapping between evaluation and expected value (of the game result) and use that instead so I don't get massively penalized for choosing a +4.0 move instead of a +6.0 one. I know Regan's done something like that in his studies of computer evaluation of human playing strength.

Yeah Im thinking about modifying my scoring system as well to one similar to yours. This will cause me to stop playing absurd moves most likely that I probably wouldn't play in a tournament, because the punishment for a horrible move is only one wrong answer, but in reality it should be much more severe, and using your system it is. Of course any move above +2 or 3 or whatever I wouldn't give a crap about, and sometimes a +1.5 move is better than a +5 move, ie when it's too complex for a human to be confident that they are calculating correctly.
