The 3-minute games are entertaining but really, no more than that. OTOH, the Tournament and solitaire videos are very educational. The 5 minute games strike a nice balance between education and entertainment- all IMHO, of course! :)

Against MafiachessRJ "I have no time left and my pieces can't move, other than that I'm doing good." You are ever the optimist and it paid off!

I agree with Kamus in his comment. I like the Tournament coverage, it is very insightful. I think the Solitaire games are popular because we have time to think while you are pondering your next move, it brings to light what a wonderfully complex a game chess really is. That, plus sometimes we guess the right move as well (sometimes, albeit relatively few, I guess the move played when you chose a different path).

For quick chess TCs I prefer the 5-min over 3-min. In both cases you are commenting as you are playing and when you do it in 3-min it is a HUGE handicap you are giving your opponents, in 5-min it's still a handicap but your knowledge and experience seem to offset this handicap.

Honestly, when watching the 3-min games I am expecting to see a train wreck Image and I'm seldom disappointed as one side or the other often derails in a major way.
