Curtains loves chocolate thread ($350 raised out of $350)
As we've all recently found out, curtains loves chocolate. Not just any supermarket checkout aisle candy-bar chocolate, but the good stuff: Godiva. As a way of saying thanks for all his great videos, he suggested that fans could help get him a year's supply of chocolate that costs $350. Along the way, curtains as well as chris_lear suggested that I serve as a sort of escrow to manage donations towards getting the chocolate. So if you want to contribute to curtains' chocolate fund, you can use the donate link at the top right of all chessvideos pages to donate. Once you do so, you MUST send me a PM saying the amount of your donation towards the curtains chocolate fund. This is so that I can tell the donations apart from our regular CV donations. We've received our first donation of $60 from chris_lear. This means only $290 in donations are needed to get curtains his chocolate. An important disclaimer: these donations are completely separate from donations for the site and using our donation button to raise money for something that is not the maintenance of this site is a one time thing. I'm merely facilitating this process, this is not a chessvideos donation drive.

Re: The Curtains loves chocolate thread ($60 raised out of $350)
btw I have an extra copy of a book that I am using for my opening repretoire. When this is all said and done, I will have some kind of raffle with like 350 entries, you get one for each dollar you donate to this very important cause, so chris lear will have 60 chances out of 350 to win this book! At the end I will use some random number generator and whoever wins will get a copy of this book (beating the open games by Marin). For some boneheaded reason I ordered it twice, because I forgot I had ordered it before I think its like a 25-30 dollar value or something, its actually a very very good book, I'm excited about playing e4 e5!

I hope for your sake that I don't win, unless you don't mind shipping to the UK. But I like the idea of the raffle.

If there are pledged donations that haven't donated yet, you should be pretty far along in your quest!

For CURTAINS loves chocolate, $15.00. CURTAINS: Educational + analytical + tactical + philosophical(most ranting) + entertainment + sharing = MAGNIFICENT.
Thanks for the curtains videos. Like the idea of the raffle.

You can donate to me via pokerstars and then I can probably just send that money for you. Or maybe Josh has an account, not 100% on that.
