You know, I have burned 160 credits in the last couple weeks on Curtains videos and basically watched almost all Curtains videos since the beginning of time.
It's getting to a point where my chess thinking is influenced/brainwashed by Mr. Greg Shahade.

Looking forward to watching this one.

Does anyone know the etymology for the word norm in the gm norm sense? It seems like a stretch to me that it's just short for the word normal.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norm#In_academia
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/norm

"A designated standard of average performance of people of a given age, background, etc."

From the Latin "norma".

Thank you Greg, I've been looking into the Tarrasch again and am one of the dxc5 players on the ...g5 move, I really like the Qe2 idea and will look into it deeper as it seems to have some venom to it.

I thought you played a good game, but it is refreshing to hear your honesty in your commentary. I really liked Rb1 but you were brutally honest about it not being your first consideration.

Your time management seemed to go well, hope the rest of the tourney was similar.

I'm well stocked on credits, so bring on the rest of the games - especially if you're spilling your guts about your opening novelties!

Curtains, your blitz games are instructive enough and fun to watch, but these slow games where you can really dig into your own thought process and give fuller consideration to the positions are on another level. Thanks so much for these--hope we get to continue seeing them.

The thing is that I don't believe this is her best picture, she's very photogenic. Oh, yes, she can play some great chess too! She ain't no push-over!

T. Abrahamyan is very beautiful and so is Greg´s sister Jennifer.

Off topic, has Greg ever played Kingscrusher, and do you guy´s watch his videos? Maybe u find him too weak worth watching? I find his blitz games very entertaining.

come on guys.
i think this is in poor taste and inappropriate.

There are millions of attractive women around every corner, it's not really worth pointing out when you find one. Like wow, i saw a tree today, let me post a photo to emphasize that i did in fact see a tree.
