Re: ClausJensen - Fried Liver in 15 minutes [14:24]
This is the first opening that I learned. At the time I didn't know how bad memorization was but I memorized all
lines given out of MCO, full games and all variations, and a bunch of analysis on my computer. What's great about this opening (especially the Wilkes-Barre/Traxler with 4...Bc5) is that computers have no idea what's going on. It's never been refuted, and I think top GMs think it's too scary to try and too much to remember. Anyway I still have all of the lines memorized and checking my online blitz database I score 44 wins, no losses, and one draw by perpetual out of 1500 games. This is no doubt due to my memorization, something that I will never be crazy enough to do again with another opening. This is just how I thought it was done at the time I was learning chess...I suppose it paid off.
Nice video, I'm glad to see someone tackling this opening
