Actually 18.c6 wasn't Shirov's suggestion, it came from the audience in Gibraltar. He mentionned 18...bxc and so on, so he thought 18.f4 was better.
Thanks for the video by the way !

His name is spelled "Jussupow" in chess databases, but if there is a correct English spelling of his Russian name, it's whatever he wants it to be. If you have a look at the books he has published in English, it's always "Yusupov" there.

What a masterpiece! One of the most exciting games you ever posted here, I think. Thanks!

Re: Dennis M.: An Incredible Battle in Gibraltar [40:00]
I think Jussupow is the "german" spelling used for Chessbase and all books and stuff say Yusupov. So both is correct but personally if I was Dennis and spent obviously several hours analyzing this fantastic game I woudl be on serious tilt if the comments I got was about the spelling of the contestants....SERIOUSLY!
On that note I have to say great vid Dennis and a fantastic game!

The enthusiasm shines through this vid as well...that makes it even more of a pleasure to watch.
Dennis, would it be possible to get a PGN of your analysis? I'd love to copy it down and show this to a friend of mine...he's a bit of a technophobe and doesn't even have a laptop, but iI could print it out and give it to him. I think he'd get a lot of pleasure from this game.
