Haha, nice, I've always enjoyed smashing the KID.
The Grunfeld is a bit more annoying in my opinion.

Re: Dennis M.: Two Simple KIDs [26:10]
Heard you were beating up on some KIDs, so I had to look... nope... they ain't mine and I'm willing to take a DNA test on this one!
Seriously though, thanks for the video. I teach the KID to a few students and I often forget to mention some of the things you covered. Much has become second nature to me a I forget to explain the 'why' behind some of the moves. For example, after the exchange on d4 the idea of c7-c6 before ...Nc5 is something that I play naturally, but always forget to mention 'why' (keeping the knight out of b5). Thanks for reminding me to stress the fundamentals.
I don't know why, I've always loved the KID, whether White wins or Black, just seems to always be an interesting game with often a nice mix of strategy and tactics.

In the second game you were after f3 talking about this d5 move. Why can not black do it after b3 or h3 too?

Re: Dennis M.: Two Simple KIDs [26:10]
Actually, ...d5 has been played in those positions, but while it's the main reply to f3 it's a sideline with the other moves. My initial guess as to why is that there are f3 lines where the Nd4 will be victimized, with check (in a ...Bxd4+ line) or through a pin (by ...Qb6), but whether that guess holds up to analytical scrutiny remains to be seen.
