I see from your videos you use Firebird 1.2. This is a very good program, but it is now dated. The strongest chess program out is currently Houdini 1.03a. It is based off of the same source code as Firebird 1.2, and is part of the Ippolit/Robbolito chess family of programs. Houdini 1.03a does supports Multi-PV as you use in your videos. Advantages: Improved search algorithm, and evaluation function. Houdini has built-in knowledge of a number of basic endgames including KQ v KP, KB v KBP. Houdini is stronger in the endgame then Rybka and other chess programs, with a more accurate evaluation of the endgame positions. Houdini 1.03a is about 60 elo stronger then Firebird 1.2, and around 20 elo stronger then Rybka 4. And like Firebird, Houdini 1.03a is Free. http://www.cruxis.com/chess/houdini.htm |

You're making too much unnecessary sound with yer mouth. I might pay for those vids otherwise, just a tip, thanks for the post.
