Thanks for posting that video... It helps me to get an Idea of how to play the Psudo Trompowsy...
I have one question though...
Is it really worth it to lose the tempo by putting the bishop on g5 without having a knight to take?...
It seems like all it does is lose tempo...
Although it does make him do pawn moves on the side...

Well Bg5 without Nf6 is certainly not a good as the actual trompowsky but it's playable and causes some annoyances for black since black has trouble playing e6 unless Nf6 comes first.

And another question:
What is the main idea behind the trompowsky? What should I mainly focus on doing during a Trompowsky game?

hi im kinda new to chess and this is my first post.. I was just wondering, what would be the best place to but your bishop after black plays f6? in the 2 move..
And why no one does that?
thank you very much!

ah, f6... you see it a lot when you play this opening as white and you love to see it because it is really a big advantage for white. Black weakens his kingside already and takes away the best square for his knight. Just bring the bishop back on h4. ...e5 cannot be played; white has an easy game.
