Good game. After accepting the gambit Black never had a chance. I studied this system a few years ago. Morozevich plays it on occasion. Example is this terrific annihilation of Karjakin in their first encounter.

Great game! I used to play this line as a kid - thanks for the memories! I had forgotten about it. Actually I probably still have the Basman cassette tape from the flared trousers days.

You could have found the comp lines had you remembered U.F.O.

U = undefended pieces
F = focused attacks
O = open lines

For example the d6 mating line is suggested by both F+O. F because of d7 square, and O because of the king. Same F for Bc5.
