Re: Checkmates in 20 moves or less
very unusual to play a 21-move checkmate as Black in the Berlin endgame. the h6-h5 business with Bxh3 is a common positional theme, but usually not leading to checkmate!

Re: Checkmates in 20 moves or less
Normally we'd have to ban you permanently for exceeding the 20 move limit, but considering that you somehow managed to quickly checkmate White in the Berlin endgame (!) we've decided that you can stay. Seriously, that is awesome!

Re: Checkmates in 20 moves or less
I like to play the Albin from time to time though normally it doesn't work out quite as well as this game did!

Re: Checkmates in 20 moves or less
The Albin is a great weapon to have in your arsenal! I'm a 1.e4 player, but I think if I played 1.d4 I wouldn't enjoy facing that opening. Nice game!

Re: Checkmates in 20 moves or less
I tried the b5 idea in the 2 knights. Not the best result I ever had!

Re: Checkmates in 20 moves or less
Here's a little bonbon for your Christmas viewing pleasure. It's been awhile since I've had a mate in less than 10 moves...
