Entertaining video. The audio levels were fine (in this video). I'll let you know about the other one soon.

I used to play the Spanish exchange all the time. I used to find the ...Bg4 line really annoying, but I did a lot of studying, so I came to enjoy those lines. The nice thing is that your opponent played Bh5 (instead of the much stronger ...h5).

Very nice late middlegame. Positions like this are why I love the Spanish exchange. Black had no attack, and you just expanded easily on the kingside and in the center.

Nice work winning the game with 4 seconds left!

The English name for this site is owl21.com. Nice game. That h3 Bh5 g4 Bg6 is an interesting gambit and black does get counter play. Most of whites plans involve Nxg6 hxg6 Qf3 and white is fine. The volume is fine for this video. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the game.

LOL I find it so funny when good players start running out of time... they just play so amazingly fast at the ends... like that one game with Zibbit lol.

Great games thanks for showing !

04:10 Nc6 developing at the end ?

Sorry but very bad video, Why you guys upload your blitz games here ?

Very bad moves, and begginers would think you do the good moves but I have never seen a such a bad game all my life.

What is the sense of uploading this game ?

To teach something ?

You sound like you are about to fall a sleep in the end game... :!:

I disagree, people making videos on youtube just for fun,
This site should be educational and very nice actually,
There are games very useful for mid players with good commentory,
I would like to show my games but I dont have enough equipment to record video.

I saw lots of games here, may be even yours but just I don't like when people starts recording and seeking for a player on the net and start to talk while they are playing.

The much better way should be analyzing after game instead of speaking while playing.

Hope you understand my point.

Cheers

Posting videos of your games here is a great way to learn. Not only for yourself, but for the audience. Commentating also tells the viewer what you're thinking. Stronger plays can help you with the mistakes, and everybody can learn something from a game. This site is for learning and entertainment. It's a matter of preference on how you use the site.

You might consider directing your criticisms about the site to JoshSpecht. I am sure he would be interested in hearing your ideas of how to improve it.

Josh is a good guy. I'm sure he'll give them all the consideration they deserve.

That's fine, so there should be a page for people who wants to be get criticized, or needs some comment to have improvement in their own games.
Look at the video title please, Spanish exchange! looks like a very good game in spanish exchange variation, but is it not.
So the title should be [need some comment on my spanish exchange game]

this game is just an example, there are many useless games here, guys even do not know the opening and they are uploading their games here.

just spam

This is a common issue on the site, instead of sending messages from pm, everyone should see the concerns and shouldn't upload that kind of games.

Sah

First of all, it's always been like that and it actually works just great. If you don't like a video, maby don't watch it? Simple as that, isn't it?

If the moves are bad why don't you give sugesstions? You might argue all moves are bad then give a few really critical sugesstions regarding their play.
The point is to LEARN something if you haven't noticed. People post games to get feedback, either it's a 5min game or whatever.

That does make a lot of sense and I have to agree with you. The difference however is I don't see anything wrong with posting blitz games, I just don't watch those videos

That's a very good point. Sah should read this over and over again: " It's a matter of preference on how you use the site "

I think you should have another look at the video title. It actually says spanish exchange blitz. The fact that it's a blitz game and that's it's not from the master hangout already should tell you something.

Basically my point is that because of people like you others are just afraid to post their games. It's not a paid site, everyone tries to contribute into building it either by uploading videos, analyzing games in the forums and so on. It should be fun to share and analyse games no matter how good you are

Nice game and nice video. Keep up the good work! :)

Just a thought though. Towards the end there, after:
g6 Nxg6
Bh2 Ne5
Bxe5 fxe5
Nxe5

Doesn't Black have:
... Bxd1
Nxd7 Bf3+
Kh2 Kxd7 winning a piece?

Sorry I missed the move numbers...
