Nice explanations and a nice classcal example. This stalemate idea is really nice and hopefully one will be able to use it in a game :-

I like the video, and hopefully this helps me. If I were playing in that position, I would probably play h5 and lose. I'm not the greatest at K & P endgames.

I did notice that in one of the later variations that you showed, it looked like white could have actually won (when B had a R pawn and white had a B pawn) by playing Kg6 instead of KxP and guarding the pawn into the queening square.

ah! yes you are right. Kg6 instead of Kxh7 does in fact win the game. i think there was a couple of other lines too where black after having made a poor move gave white some winning chances.
