Re: curtains - LOLOL SCRABBLE [35:29]
Yeah, probably doesn't belong here. I'm rated 1400 on that site, though. I usually play 20 minute voids. I've had a pretty considerable increase lately due to reading and memorizing a lot of the words in Mike Baron's book. You can look that up in his profile if you think that would help, but most of the word lists are online as well. Peace.

Re: curtains - LOLOL SCRABBLE [35:29]
huge lol at posting a scrabble video! im a complete noob in this game, but i still kind of enjoyed the video.. you have talent. seriously tho, it probably doesn't belong here too much.. but you should definitely start like a video-blog, where you can post your non-chess related random videos like this one :) oh and of course i do expect a generous stars transfer if your site turns out to be a big success ;)

How about the play FOCI? Wow, I'm definitely going to download/acquire Zyzzyva now. Awesome video - five pawns!

Re: curtains - LOLOL SCRABBLE [35:29]
Basically every word list you can think of. All 2-letter words, all 3-letter words, all 4-letter words, most 6-letter hooks, most 7-letter hooks, etc. etc. I say "most" because obviously you can't have them all; instead, he did the math and sorted them into the most probable based on the letters that compose them.
There's a lot of other really interesting stuff in the book, too; but mostly it's just words and words and words!

Re: curtains - LOLOL SCRABBLE [35:29]
Nice video. I don't think your opponent played the best she could though, I mean... you had a pretty weak red/pink-square complex. What if she still had her bishop? Apart from that, you both start in the centre, but then you both drift to the outside of the board. You're an IM! You KNOW how important central control is! Lastly, I'm interested in your opening repetoire: what would you have played if she had played this opening against you?

If zyzzyva.net is down, where can one acquire a copy of Zyzzyva?
