good game thanks dennis I think you forgot to mention one thing: doesn't black has the idea of f7-f5 to break down the marocy?

 Re: Dennis Monokroussos: Monokroussos-Cobert [31:31]
Thanks for sharing! GM Jonathon Rowson mentioned the "chess sin" of blinking, defined by: 1) Pending counterplay [by opponent] 2) The prevailing trend seems to have stopped 3) An abundance of choice [options] 4) Opponent's last move seems unusual/peculiar I think the tactical exercises you highlighted also have instructive examples of "blinking" moments. Very nice!

gooeyjim: Yes, ...f5 is sometimes possible too; in fact, that's what Cobert eventually played!
D**3: Glad you're enjoying them!

 Re: Dennis Monokroussos: Monokroussos-Cobert [31:31]
why not at 21:00 trade down with: Qxe5 Bxe5 Rd7+ and then Qg7, Rxg7+ Kxg7. (Kg8/Kh8 is not playable because of Bc4 eventually winning the Queen) Your 4 points up in material and his bishop and knight are just slightly better placed than yours. It still a won game.
BTW I like your videos. Its about the same lvl as I am and it's fun. Keep up the great work!

Hiddie,
You're welcome - I'm glad you're enjoying the shows. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your variation, because if Qxe5 (instead of Qd2, right?) Bxe5 Rd7+ why can't Black play ...Nxd7 Rxd7+ Bg7? White's generosity has gone too far there.

Oeh, missed the knight there, painful. Should have looked at the position a bit longer than 30 seconds. Well, let's say I still have a couple of years to go since I'm just 14

 Re: Dennis Monokroussos: Monokroussos-Cobert [31:31]
Dennis,
I noticed that close to the beginning of your video you are analyzing some variations out the opening in this King's Indian Defense, and you recommend casually for Black that he play BG4 and Bxf3, exchanging the King's Indian Bishop. The true KID player holds that Bc8 bishop in order to sacrifice it on h3 at the appropriate moment in a mating attack.
If you are going to play the KID, play it like its strongest exponents, Fischer and Kasparov. As long as you are playing in under 2600 tournaments.
