 Re: Tricky Endgame Swindle
Seems to me that black was the one who really swindled since white could have gotten a back rank checkmate.

 Re: Tricky Endgame Swindle
To me it appears that Black very strongly controls the center of the board and is also ahead in material; the idea of Black coming anywhere close to losing here didn't cross my mind.

 Re: Tricky Endgame Swindle
Dude...are you TRYING to annoy people? HOW could white have gotten a backrank mate? If you gonna make such a claim, back it up with moves or variations.

 Re: Tricky Endgame Swindle
Very nice. It's hard to believe this actually happened in a game!

 Re: Tricky Endgame Swindle
He's just trying to point out that if srn347 is going to say something like that (since srn347's post pretty much contradicts the OP), he should back up his claim.

 Re: Tricky Endgame Swindle
I'm wondering if there isn't a flaw in the puzzle and how fast Fritz can find it. The puzzle is very nice and I couldn't find it myself. Very tricky.
Hint: White to move and force a draw.

Why don't you try to have a conversation with srn347? If you do, you'll see it always ends with anger and annoyance.
