gw
I really had trouble uploading this, but finally it went :)
This game has some interesting twists and turns as well as oversights. I am very happy to get a draw. Maybe we should play a 25 or 30 min game. I am sure we would both play better!
I will do a full analysis on this game with Fritz so we can discuss it further.
Good Game my Friend,
KB :)
PS: Thanks for the extra time :)

Cute that you spend so much time on the opening because I never played the sicilian against you (with black) =D

Re: KingsBlade - Dual Com KB v GW Closed Sicilian Dec 6 [45:22]
Instead of 52. hxg5 wouldnt h5 be winning for gw as kb needs to spend a move taking the d pawn, meaning the king could no longer get inside the square of the passed h pawn?
I think you should have played the grand prix without hesitation in the game KB, the reason I always play the hateful french against you is because im scared of the grand prix if I play the sicilion. I can only remember a handful of games that I have played against the Grand Prix and I play the sicilion all the time.
Anyway get your arse back on chess.com and play me, i promise i won't play the french if you do.

Yip it would. Havent seen it. I tend to miss a lot of stuff (even that minor tactics with cxb in the middlegame) when playing rapid chess. I am just not accustomed to playing "short" time controls and my pattern experience is rather undeveloped because I havent been playing chess for long. I often really need my time to sit down even to spot the most basic stuff^^. I had the strong feeling that this pawn endgame should have been winning for me, but without having time I just screwed it up. I am really curious about your analysis KB, hope you post it soon (ok, its probably sht around 6am at your place so I will have to wait a bit. You are an early bird ? Or a nightowl ? )

gw
Yes, the Sicilian really threw me off. I kept wondering what I played against you thinking that you had played the Sicilian sometime in the past against me, but as you said, you didn't. I have also listened to many people lately regarding the GPA. Some like it and some don't. I have had some great successes and some horrible failures. So I had trouble deciding what formation I wanted to use against you. As a result, I really burned way too much clock time on it.
I plan to analyze it right now (15:45 gmt) and I hope it doesn't take too long to upload!

dutto Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you saw our games (your wins) in the KB Blunders series =) Yes, I think there are a lot of missed opportunities in this g20 game. I am seriously considering a little longer time control so that both gw and I play our best. I am really horrible at blitz. My 5 min ICC rating is like 850. Anyway, stay tunned for a thorough analysis of this game! Damn right I want to play you again and go ahead and play the French! I need practice on it. I just need a short break first because I want to do some book studies and the (friggin) French Defense is on "the list". As I have said, I want to play more quality chess and less quantity. I am not applying the first rule of chess "CONCENTRATION"! Don't worry dutto, "I'll be back". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8I4zFSipKsKB :)
