Excellent video :o !
I loved your quote in the beginning about what excellence truly is?
I have one question

#1: Would you suggest (my rating is about 1200) to use defenses i usually dont play with in order to confuse my opponent and get them out of their "comfort zone"?

I think advice ony applies when your opponent can prepare for the game and knows what you might play.

I am simply showing an illustration of how psychology can apply to a chess game. I dont know what might be best for you because I dont know your strengths and weaknesses... What I can say is that at 1200 there is alot to learn :) Specially in the field of tactics..

Dear Salesman

Good you destroyed the myth that psychology has nothing to do with it.
(Bobby Fischer: "I don't believe in psychology, I believe in good moves".).
More of these aspects of the game, please.

How come you had to play someone 1050 points (!) below you?

Kind Regards

Bayes

Fischer was a genius with a ego... He also said, " I like the moment when I break a man's ego. " ( no psychology in that obviously)

Thanks for your input Bayes, I hope you enjoy the second video.

Dear Salesman,

Of course I did like it.
Even if my comment might sounded a bit harsch in your last video.
I, simple meant, I do want you to post a video of the d5 line. I seem too recall (wussiesly?(I tried some different english that I am not used too)) some game that brought that line in favour of white. So, it would be interesting. I truely meant it.

I have seen the video (Dick Cavett Show, seach for it on youtube, just frabjous). I mean he had his ghosts too and it was a lie when he said "Psych....".
Any Tal game would prove this.

I like your analysis games. Your blitz live, so so, you talk to little. Though, I sheer for the white side in your retí live blizt games :D .
Anyway, you are a pro. so who am I?

I have not locked at your last video, but agog (Hope this means something possitive!. A bartender, here in sweden, said this was an old word. I like it!. Victorian style?!). Other words I like is mitigate and ameliorate).

Nice game, from both sides. Salesman used some decent variations at the right times to get the better end of the battle.
