On move 33 you had the skewer Bg5+!
You are a lot better than you give yourself credit for. To be completely honest you constantly say how bad you are and this gets a little annoying.
I'm barely a 1500 player and would love to have your skills. You are bad ass in my eyes and you should play with more confidence. Yeah he had a high rating but we are only human and make mistakes all the time.
I love listening to your commentary by the way. You speak very clearly and are easy to understand. Keep the videos coming!

Wow! I loved your confidence from the begginning. Hehe Even I saw the skewer and I'm sub 1000. But, you were just looking to flag...
Good game though

yeah, he did great, its hard to concentrate on both talking in understandable english and being fully mentally engaged in a game..Yeah lol I know he missed 33. Bg5+, well we both missed it till it was to late, but we were moving pretty quickly..Its sad that in the game I didn't even consider the move, 12...Nxc3, maybe it would suck, but it would be really fun to play..

Thanks for the nice comments, guys!
Mac, you're absolutely right. Sorry about the constant negativity.
T&E, good game! I can't wait to hear what you were thinking during the game.

I might be wrong but you could have won a pawn at 33:18
By taking with the knith with your white bishop. and after he takes it with his pawn you can take a pawn with your other bishop..
I aint good player so please say if I'm wrong

Tom, I think you're right, but I don't think it would have been good to play that combination. At that point, I wanted to keep as many of my pieces on the board as possible.

I think you really need to work on your confidence. You seem really intimidated playing against higher ranked players and this is not based solely on this vid. I know you're being half-serious there sometimes, but if you play chess competitively I think it would improve your game. I might be wrong, I'm just starting out, but I think the psychology is the same in every game.

With that being said I really, really enjoy your vids and I think you're very natural when commentating.

BKildahl the video was great and I definetly think you should do more of those. Maybe I can be your partner some time in the future... we could play now although I don't have a mic, with or without recording.

Thanks, guys!
Starless, I think you're right! That's one of the big reasons I'm doing videos. I need to become more confident.
SJplayer, I think playing a game together is a good idea. It would be best if we were both recording audio, but I'd be happy to play either way.

Nice commentary. It's nice that your able to throw in some jokes and antics while still concentrating on the game. It makes the videos not only educational but fun to watch as well. Now to watch T&E video.
