I think the differences mostly have to do with organizing it to present versus organizing it for me to absorb. I offer the raw PGN so people can modify it to suit their needs. Thanks for your efforts on this, Wildman. A typo BTW: In the Ponziani line, 4.Qh4 should be Qa4. Also, the insane psychotic line in the Ponziani is 4.Bb5 dxe4 5.Nxe5 Qg5! 5...Qg5! is a refutation in every sense of the word, but the positions are irrational and you may see the position once a decade, so i give 5...Bd7 as a sane alternative. Even the upcoming book _Play the Ponziani_ acknowledges that 5...Qg5 refutes the author's old favorite, 4.Bb5. http://www.everymanchess.com/chess/book ... e_Ponziani Not that i'd recommend playing the Ponziani... i think you're better off with King's Gambit, but that's off topic. I print these things out and staple them into a booklet I carry in my backpack, so when I'm out and about and have a few spare minutes I can take out my little magnetic chess set and play through one or more of the little PGN snippets and really think about it. The videos are great, but the way my brain works I need the intermediate step before trying it in a game. Also, I find that the act of transcribing helps the material stick better too.
I've fixed the typos above. As for the Ponzi (scheme) book, I guess you can find anyone willing to sell anything to try and make a buck. This one didn't need much work, but I spaced things out so comments are spread over lines instead of embedded comments in embedded comments with no relationship between the lines and the comments, etc. I also moved a few things around to better accomodate both the comment nesting and the location of things realitve to the timeline in the video. It's too bad my indentations for the various levels of comments and variations don't come through in the post, but it isn't that hard to add them to your own copy if you're so inclined. That's true of all the other recent ones as well. Enjoy!
