Thanks 2 Andrewrun for reminding me how the hide-tag works. Below is the .pgn if you want to find some computer lines or something that I missed or just look at the game in your own time.

I sort of like the Nc2 line against Dragon players. It is not only a matter of avoiding theory (after all, it's not all that complex) but it is taking the game into your own, more positional lines. People who play the Dragon don't seem to do well against lesser-known systems in the Maroczy.

Your opponent seemed to have some knowledge of the Maroczy, and his knight sortie was rather interesting, but when it at last ended up on f7 I didn't like his position.

I'm with you on the move f3-f4, you pointed out quite a few good points about it. You mentioned you didn't want him making his center pawns into monsters, so you took away his only option at counterplay, you bully. However, your options you looked at were quite good as well.

What's the saying, if one piece stands badly then your whole position is bad, his knight on f7 just really bugged me for some reason.

Even with missing 35:00 Qg3+ (oops!) this has to be one of my favorite games of yours. Positional savvy all the way through. Nice win in my opinion.

Good luck with the remaining games. Concentrate on winning and do videos later.

Thank you katar, very humbling to hear. We can also learn from each other. I think your e4-e5 series is excellent and something I wanted to do. Maybe I can steal a similar idea and do videos for white.

Thank you for the this video and the last one also. The way you describe where to put pieces and when and why you trade really, really helps!

A nice smooth win... f3-f4 was an instructive moment, and i liked the tactics at the end!
