Besides capturing Black's B on d6, another strategic point was your pawn on d5, which created both a passed pawn and an outpost for your R.
I also noticed that once you put your opponent on the defensive, he stayed there.
You're making progress.

I think you are making great videos. I startet to play the Pirc Defence after watching your games. It´s a great defence and black gets into som nice attacks most of the time... (I am a beginner)
By the way - nice strategy video...

Hi, at time 12:07, if you play Ra7 checking black king, then black must play Kd8 to protect his knight, and then you would play Ba5+ checking again, and black's only legal move is Kc8, at this time, if you play pawn d6 then black will lose for sure since he s gonna lose his knight for no compensation at all due to the threat of dxe7 (pawn takes knight) and d7+ forking king and rook while queening.
