Really good to hear your voice again, some of us thought you might have dragged that virgin to close to the volcano for the sacrifice to the gods and had fallen in.

Interesting games. I'm not that into the 960 stuff, but game three seemed too computer-like to me. It seemed to me it was more than just a three move span, even the late follow-up looked computer-like. Can you look at other games this person played, or do you know him/her? Just curious and a bit more than suspicious.

Entertaining stuff nevertheless. Thanks.

Yeah, I smell a rat too. I checked the game with Hiarcs 11 (2450 ELO) and after move 1, almost every black move was the computer's first choice. Incidentally, the one exception was 7...Qf3 which it liked for black. giving 8. Nf2 Ne6! 9.Qc3 Nf4 10.Qc4 Rd3!! 11. Qb5+ Kf7 12. Qxd3 Nxd3 13. cxd3 Bf4 and black is still winning. But the suspicious 7...Rd3! was its second choice and may well have been the first choice of another engine.

I'm not a master, but I can tell intuitively that black cheated game 3.

I agree with most, I smelled a rat during the game and even more when I saw that like 11 moves in a row where 1st choice Rybka 2.2 moves. Anyway I'd like to think that he'd have a higher rating if he was cheating and I don't want to take it away from him if he indeed just played the tactic of his lifetime so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. The pattern of the game was however consistent with somebody a) copying the fen string and putting it into the computer after move 1 b) playing perfect moves after that until he was winning and then c) played sloppily after he was completely winning allowing the game to go on for 50 moves (later part of the game he woud presumably not have time to follow the game with his engine, i.e. entering the moves).

So like I say I really don't care much if he indeed cheated but I'd like to think that he didn't. Lets just enjoy it as a nice tactic in anycase ;-)

Yes, well it was a very nice tactical sequence and your response of giving him the benefit of the doubt is undoubtedly a classy reaction. Props to you, sir.

I salute your attitude Zibbit! Glorious moves by black, really on that third one.
