On a video that is over two years old (!), the user here gooeyjim recently claimed that all a player has to do is put in '5 minutes' and they will be prepared to 'refute' the Latvian... so I'm going to test that logic! I haven't played correspondence in a long time... if you want a more reliable game (and one that might go until the end) Is there any chance you would like to play a 15 0 latvian instead on fics and make a video?

Naw, don't think of this as something really intense or crazy, since it's not going to be... it's not like I'm spending hours at a chess board or sending 'sealed moves' through the postal service--I just thought it might be interesting for the users here to get to see what was going on as it was happening... the thing is, there was once a time when I had WAY too many games going at Chess.com, and so I decided a while back just to finish all of those up, and not spend so much time on chess anymore--but making a move in a forum doesn't count LOL, even if I'm at the university in a week!

Just to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of FICS--even the 'user-friendly' interfaces aren't that familiar or easy to use for me (I have a Dell Latitude that I bought for $250 off eBay!) ... and pretty much the only reason I occasionally go on there is to record a game and post it here LOL! Maybe something like that could work out eventually, I dunno... for now, though, I think this type of game would be more interesting and unique, as I haven't done this in a while--and also, it's not like it won't be finished eventually--more drama = more fun!

Basically, if I thought that I could catch you online sometime on FICS, that might be one thing, but I'm gonna' be really busy over the next five days or so, and so I'd like to give this a try for now...

It's simple, Nxg6 simply wins for white... I love playing white with 4. Ng5 in the two knights defense, this is way easier to defend
