 My Game#3 Pls Comment
Hey, I have played another game today with Black. White has lost few tempos in the beginning. Black has got control over the center. I planned to push the center for gaining space advantage and with my active Rooks I was able to convert it into easy win. PGN is attached below Hidden Text Below - [Show it] - [Hide it Again] [Event "Fics rated standard 25 0"] [Site "?"] [Date "2012.01.28"] [Round "?"] [White "NN"] [Black "kartha"] [Result "0-1"] [WhiteElo "1395"] [BlackElo "1563"]

 Re: My Game#3 Pls Comment
Your style is getting better. These are just a few observations I'm sure you will see follow the same logic.
7....e5! Your move was too timid. In the Caro black can normally only dream of this push - Karpov. 8...Bc5 is more active. Prevents d4, controls centre. Later may help target f2 with aid of a knight jump. 13..Qc7 Again timid. The Queen can go further forward. Also on the c-file the Queen feels uncomfortable as white could bring a rook to the c-file later when the Queen will just have to move again. 14..Rfb8 boxed in your other rook. 14..e5 looks strong. 26..Qd5 remembers the object of the game!
That was not much was it? Overall you played really well. The most important point to remember from this game is how easy white collapsed on the kingside after you induced the pawn moves.

Also I suggest trying to play as strong opponents as you can and also post losses to learn from, good luck.

 Re: My Game#3 Pls Comment
Really well played game. Just suffocated that guy with really active pieces.
Some thoughts.
12...h6 I don't think was best. I would have played 12...Qb6 and then if 13.Bg5 Nd7 and white loses a pawn.
19. Rfe1 wasn't best imo from white. If he had tried f4 it leads to an interesting game. I haven't analysed it fully but this is an example line.
19.f4 exf4 20.Rxf4 Re8 21. Qxd4 Qxd4 22. Nxd4 Bxd3
I'm not sure who I like best here I think black having the bishop when the pawns are split is good but white's knight is quite good.
But as I said nicely played. The position after 25...Ref6 is funny because whites position is so bad

@ jtixs You know, I hated that pawn move when I first saw it. I came up with the same as you! But on reflection h6 had some benefits it seemed to me. Never in a month of Sundays would I even consider taking on f4. The knight and rook are zombies, capturing is the elixir they crave. Think basics! Even if such a line turns out good for black, you got to be missing something or several things better.

 Re: My Game#3 Pls Comment
What benefits do you find to h6? I am trying to eliminate making moves like h6 or a6 in my game unless they are really necessary. I am interested in what you found. as for f4 exf4. I can't see what black does instead of exf4. Re8 is no good...maybe f6 is ok but I havent checked it out. What do you find?

 Re: My Game#3 Pls Comment
h6 is useful in it'self obviously. But where is white going to put his Bishop? Where are the exact best squares for blacks rooks? I decided it was a reasonable flexible waiting move. I'm not saying your wrong, you might be right.
f6 is ok. Better is Bb7 Qxe5 Qg6 double attack, with Re8 skewer ( Qe5 + Ne2 ) as a kicker. I hadn't really thought of any of this, I just knew something had to be better. At a push I would find something else.

 Re: My Game#3 Pls Comment
Qg6 Rf2 and white defends adequately. If Re8 then Qxd4. Black has compensation in his active pieces but I'm not sure it's enough.
Edit--After Qxd4 Rad8 I would be scared to play white as black has scary active pieces

Zibbit: My next Game would be a lost Game. I am playing in FICS and when ever I place a seek request automatically people who are accepting are of below rating, I am not sure how to seek for higher rating opponent! I would be finding out, I remember this is the second time you have suggested me to play with stronger opponents.

 Re: My Game#3 Pls Comment
You can set a minimum rating for your seek. So far you are doing a good job of picking of your opponents but the feeling is that you are just better than your opponents thus far.
