I liked this video a lot and deferentially would recommend it to all beginner-intermediate players, reason why is that so much elementary principles are mentioned in this video and they are so much and often neglected by amateur players, , video is full of strong and valuable advices. I cant now mention all that were said in video but there is one that is so much broken and underestimated easy to miss it and that is when you said "don't trade or realise tension if not forced and all is even, better to wait and do that under better conditions for you" i cant describe how this is important and so much neglected, including me. To summarize, video is full of smart stuff. thx

 Re: sfarmer29 - 2012 US Am West Feature Game R2 [40:54]
Thanks! I thought this was an interesting game and that it came from the Booster Section of a tournament was actually a thrill to me as it was not that poorly played. Even at higher levels a lot of the points I bring across in this video often get overlooked. Some tend to play the 'safe' moves (like Phil did with c2-c3) and others would not have traded the bishop for the knight on e7 on principle (though, to be honest, with calculation I am sure anyone over 1800 would see this wins). I also thought this brought about a rather interesting contrast when comparing the elements of Material, Space and Time. Oh yeah, almost forgot... With regards to the trade on e7 if I were annotating this for a magazine I would have given it a "!!" whereas I feel pretty confident that if another person had written the article the importance of this trade would more or less go unnoticed but the follow-up move on the b-file would have been awarded, unnecessarily, the "!" or "!!". I find it more interesting to find the moves that lead up to the "brilliant" moves rather than finding the "Brilliant" moves themselves. I don't know if what I said made sense, I hope you understand what I'm trying to get across here.

Let me commend you on your comprehensive tagging. It's comforting to know that in future, when players search for the " Ralph the wonder Llama Sacrifice" tag, they will no longer come up empty handed.

Heh heh. Yep, you have to get up pretty early in the afternoon to get one over on me.
