Re: Dennis M.: Quick Ruy 33: Zaitsev Variation [83:08] I wanted to commend the uniformly excellent quality of this series.
Both White and Black can aim for play on all 3 sectors of the board, so i am convinced that a study of the Ruy Lopez is a fairly comprehensive study of the middlegame in chess. I can understand why some folks have said that you don't really know anything about chess until you've learnt something about this opening.
