nice, but you click through the variations too fast and also end in a lot of unclear evaluations which perhaps you could have run through a computer (esp. the endgames) to give us an expected result and perhaps a quick overview of the strategy.

Thanks for the fun and instructional analysis, Dennis. I've been getting pretty good positions from the Benko Gambit recently, but you have inspired me to consider dipping my toes back into the von Hennig-Schara whirlpool for the occasional change of pace.

BTW, you didn't mention an important variation at approximately 09:05. You analyze 19...Bb5 in white's favor, but why not 19....Bc6 instead?

• The queen cannot escape with 20. Qe7 because of the simple 20...Rge8, of course
• After 20. Nb5 black simply collects the knight with 20...Bxb5
• 20. Ne4 is interesting, but 20...Nxe4 21. fxe4 Qxe4 22. Bf3 Nxf3+ and 23....Rxd3
• 20. e4 seems to preserve white's advantage, though. The best I can find for black is 20...Rxd6 21. exf5 and black's compensation is insufficient for the 2 pawns.
