Hey GP, nice job with both videos ! I'm sure they'll be very helpful to Scotch gambit players.

Personally, I've always been a fan of the Black side. After 12..Qb8! (delaying ..0-0), White has to make some concession on the queenside. White has only one thing going for him - the kingside majority (which I'm usually fond of). In this case, unfortunately, he lacks the stability in the centre to really put the 4 vs 3 to use. One sample line: After 12..Qb8 13. b3 Qb6 14. Qd3 (to play Nd2) 0-0 15. Nd2 Bxd4 16. Bxd4 c5 17. Bf2 Bf5 18. Nxe4 Bxe4 it seems to me that White is fighting for a draw.

hmm yes very interesting, it seems that white is in some trouble after 12..Qb8! in the line you gave me black has a very little edge according to Houdini, and there seems to be nothing for white. also saccing the b2 pawn is nothing I think, after 12. Qb8 13. Nc3 13. Qxb2 black is just better. So gotta figure out something for this line, lol. it seems that this line is equalizing for black. Good stuff! Still love the Scotch gambit though. Thanks Fox! Cya
