 Fan
I'm a great fan of your videos.
Your level is much higher than mine but i understand many thing to increase my chess play.
I particulary like the search of the best variation.
My son (7 years old,1190)in the French Championship last year

Wouldn't 27. Bf4 e5 28. Bd2 win back a pawn for white?
Great video though, just like the others. Keep them coming!

Yeah Malfurion but I was up two pawns anyway and was already offering one back. Of course I didn't see that during the game or after, but okay its easy to be transfixed by the captures on f6. 26...Bf6 was simply a terrible move.

your old videos are pretty good too, ofcourse the LIVE 5-minute game videos are more exciting but these aren't too bad either

Hey figrock, have you decided to join me on my voyage of watching every single curtains vid & comment? (noticed you've watched his first 4 & commented) I feel a little bad flooding the entire forum with these old games (especially where curtains loses horribly) but whatever it's also a good reminder of what video I'm up to. ciao!

Nope, no need to be sorry. I salute you for bringing these games to our attention. Since I wasn't as methodical as you, I've been basically following in your footsteps and watching these or at least most of them and some for the second time. I noticed that something has changed in the year I've been watching Curtains videos- I understand more of what's going on the second time around. A lot of these blurred by when I saw them the first time. It's actually been quite educational and Curtains is to be commended on giving us such a candid view (and a large sampling too) of how a strong player thinks at the board. I'm pretty sure he's made a unique contribution here.

I was thinking I'd go through zibbit's videos as well & comment, I find them quite interesting. Very educational & funny at times (I've seen some of the Pattern Recognition videos and the live 5 min is great). I've already gone through a few of his: Zibbit - Johannesson,I - Haraldsson,S , RCC08 (1) [62:42] viewtopic.php?t=1642Zibbit - Bjornson,S - Johannesson,I RCC08(2) [25:52] viewtopic.php?t=1695Zibbit - Johannesson,I - Kristjansson,A, RCC08(3) [25:11] viewtopic.php?t=1851Zibbit - Kjartansson,D-Johannesson,I, RCC08(4) [27:29] viewtopic.php?t=1897Zibbit - Some random tactics training [28:25] viewtopic.php?t=1957Zibbit - Johannesson-Salama, RCC08(5) [30:35] viewtopic.php?t=1969Zibbit - Chess Tactics Server #2 [26:17] viewtopic.php?t=1979
