. What about doing a video series showing the solution, maybe in portions of 50-100 moves per video

My biggest concern would be that there could occur some unwanted shorter mates if there are sidelines, because it cannot be checked with an engine.
I remember a series of articles in a German Chess Journal about finding extremely long mates with the help of tablebases. If I remember right the longest mate published there was about 330 moves in a Bishop+2Knights versus Knight endgame, which however fails to the 50 moves rule
