Fox! :lol: Is it the unnatural position of #56 that made you balk? It's not a terribly hard one but it's solution is amusing (and clever). Incidentally, that position actually could arise in a real game. I looked it up and it turns out that one can have a maximum of 6 pawn on any file.

Ugh. I found the sneaky defence and reasoned that wasting two moves to make black move his king over and back would work but never thought of forcing the rook to move instead.

Yeah, as far as solving it, I'm put off by anything that looks remotely unnatural. This one's not a cluttered mess, though, so I'm definitely interested in seeing the solution!
