I see you decided to get your radio voice on for this one, kamus. At least I hope it's that and not a cold, haha.

Very enjoyable video series, looking forward to more Basman games in the future!

Actually, I thought that was your golf commentator voice, half expecting birds chirping in the background.

Indeed, this is a good series of a man I will never understand. It's like Steve Howe on the guitar, while I played I could never emulate him and only after I retired and devoted time could I come close. Maybe it has to do with losing one's senses. Hmmmm...

Good stuff.

Thanks guys! Actually, I do have a cold! I will be bringing more Basman games. I'm going to focus on interesting games he's played in the past that aren't well known. His draw with Botvinnik is one, for starters. He came within a hair's breadth of beating the great man- Botvinnink was very lucky indeed!

Yeah, b3 was a real puzzler- and unlikely to be a "mouseslip" as this was OTB (as you probably were aware). Well he is 67 after all- I'm only 59 and I've noticed a considerable impairment of my chess abilities compared to 15 years ago. They weren't that good to begin with and now my kids beat me on a regular basis. Thanks for watching. BTW, since the upload function here isn't working right now, you (or anyone else) can find my new videos on YouTube- just search "kuasm".
