Loved the sequence after Ba3 and the liqudation in the center...so strategically clean somehow. Instructive stuff!!

Yeah been playing a bunch of good games lately but always seem to ruin them with at least one really big mistake early in the game that my opponent fails to take advantage of (like in this game allowing this ...b5 stuff winning a pawn)

Hi Curtains,
I know that you have based your black rep on Alburt,Dzindi and Perelshteyn's book but what have you based your white rep on? ie the english?
Cheers, Kruupy.

I use all books as supplements, but in general the main stuff I use is ChessBase.
I have recently purchased two books on the English, one by Kosten and one by Donaldson and Cartsen. However the main tool I use for opening analysis is ChessBase and my experience.

Thanks for that curtains!
Have you grabbed a database of games on the english and slowly trimmed it into lines that you consistently use? - I want to learn the English as well but Im finding it difficult to get a summary of the main lines you play.
Cheers, Kruupy.

Well some of the lines I play are a bit rare and there arent many in a database. I just use a big database and search for a position whenever needed.
