I think the dual commentary was set up by ICC...

And curtains by saying "I must win" is a bad thing because when anyone has pressure they play worse.

It's ok, I always feel like I must win. I don't think the pressure got to me really, he played pretty good, I made one mistake and from there his technique was quite good. I tried a little too hard to win on time, because I felt that the fact that he was new to doing live videos may distract him, and should have paid more attention to being solid.

I think the current affairs element of these videos is underrated.

Anyways, interesting game and great commentary as usual.

2. Yes zibbit had good technique
3. Winning on time is usually a good thing but you can't forget about other parts of the game.

I think you could have played a lot better and probably underestimated zibbit. I am still a curtains fan though.

Actually he didn't really play bad or make huge mistakes. His pawn sac was intuitive and turned out afterwards that it's probably ok after ...Bg5. Only mistake was perhaps allowing me to consolidate too easily with Qxc7-b8-b5 and Qd3+. If he found some way to keep it slightly messy around there the time edge would have begun to matter much more.

I don't think he underestimated me, seemed like he treated this like any other game and he knows somebody with 2380 in 5-minute isn't going to be a walkover.

And yes I am also still a curtains fan!

I underestimated you a bit in the sense that I thought it'd be harder for you to get used to doing live commentary while playing, so tried to take advantage of that a little too much by moving quickly.

Speaking of which, I'm amazed by how well you two play while doing the commentaries. I had a really difficult time adjusting, and even once I felt like the live commentary aspect wasn't too distracting, I still played a lot more weakly than I did when I wasn't doing a live commentary.

Anyways, I'm hoping more and more people realize how much fun it is to record live commentaries.

lol I'm up for doing it, but I don't think people would enjoy hearing 'ummm, yeah, I have no idea why, but I think im gonna do this' 'o...my king and queen is forked AGAIN.' etc etc

I've been working my way through Curtains videos for a while now, and I have to say that this and the previous video were simply the best! Keep up the great work!
