Greatest chessplayer? Wow! I'll get to reading the "My Great Predecessors" series and do an extensive anyalysis of all the major chess engines and I'll get back to you on that answer. But I'm pretty sure you are anyway. (Last sentence inserted for your ego.)

It's pretty obvious that you're the greatest player of all time. To be honest, I don't really understand why your opponents even bother making moves. Don't they realize who they've been paired with? Don't they realize that they'd save time by resigning on move 1?

Legend has it that there was a Sniatruc chess engine created in a mad chessplayer/scientists lab a few years back. It didn't calculate in terms of points/pawns advantage, but rather rated each move as "Curtains-esque/Godlike" (best), "How could this be bad?" (an ok move), and "Move that would not even enter curtains' brain as a legal move" (bad). It has not been, nor will ever be released to the public, as chessplayers' tiny brains would explode upon seeing it in action.

Curtains, you may have any/all of my future daughters as wives/concubines in honor of your unspeakable chess omnipotence.

Oh, and to p13012 - Kasparov was actually going to write a book like MGP concentrating solely on curtains' games, but realized that he had no ability whatsoever to comprehend the depth and genius behind his moves.

None better.

If you had taken that rook and gotten forked, I wouldn't have been able to say this. :|

May be a bit early/overzealous to toss in Kamsky's name with Tal and Kasparov..

Wow, that was actually fun to watch and listen to. Normally, I start zoning out coz its way over my head and the narrator sounds like a zombie but you were cool to listen to - even tho it was still way over my head. (Awww, putty tats :))

18. Na4 ... instead i would have solidified the d pawn by e3.

In fianchettoed positions like that i have noticed players delay or prefer not to move the e pawn at all. I am unsure exactly why this is, although i have found 2 logical reasons; the fianchettoed bishop can move to f3 supported by the e pawn, and sometimes not moving the e pawn can make rook lifts easier.

anyone here know exactly why they dislike moving the epawn in the fianchettoed position?
