Unbelievable game ! Thank you for the excellent analysis.
I also think that home preparation is an important, substantial part of chess (I mean we all are thinking about chess at times we are not sitting at the board, don`t we?) and that it shouldn`t be the main reason to not get awarded a prize. I don`t know games 2 and 1 though ^^

Thanks again for your work and wonderful analysis !

Bh6!! The complications leading from this move were fantastic. Your right, black didn't really do anything wrong. The paradox was that the passivity of black's bishop on b6 seemed to increase the potency of white's dark squared bishop allowing what looked like a desperado move to h6. The follow up with Ng5 leaving two pieces en priz was breathtaking. A brilliant game and your analysis was crystal clear as always. Many thanks Dennis.

All games are preparation. My God, the books written on Ruy Lopez theory alone could probably fill a library. All players prepare, those whose novelties work should not be punished just because it was all home preparation. Great job as usual Dennis. I went over this game myself before watching your analysis and now I cannot wait for games 2 and 1. Great job. :D

This game just made Joel Benjamin's Game of the Week on ICC for those of you who may want to see someone else's analysis. He too thought this game should have won.
