instead of gxf5 after f5 in the endgame I thought about the exchange sacrifice Rxe6 but the h3 pawn will fall right away and the endgame is lost I think.

Hi Dennis, great video, really nice to have an idea of what world class players think about when playing.

Question about the tactical trap for black exchanging pawns early on d5:
once the queen has come to c5, why can't black exchange knights to get out of trouble? (ie Nd5 x c3) Then move the second knight out of trouble, say to c6..

no doubt there's a good answer - pls forgive my not seeing it..

After Nxc3, Bxc3 discovers an attack on the queen from the rook on d1 and I don't think there is anything that can be done to save the Knight on a5.
