If Kxc8 there were also Qf5+ winning the knight straight off. It doesn't win as much material as Ne6 though I think it's simpler.

In your same line of improvement after Rg8,Qxh7 I was first thinkin Bxg5 but that would have blunderd pretty badly =)

Josh,

Thanks for your analysis, this really helps as I've played thru the different variations.

I've been doing alot of tactics on CTS for the past couple of weeks.

I think 1 of things I need to do is to see the " whole " board, sometimes I rush myself & don't...

Hey Josh, I was just wondering. If white had played Re3, what's the best repsonse to black's Ncd4 buildling pressure on f3 and threatening the fork on c2?
